Our Staff
As staff members, our role is to equip every Christian at DPC to serve Jesus.
Janet Riley
Pastoral Team
“I'm Janet, and I'm deeply thankful to walk the twists and turns of this life with the Lord Jesus - to know forgiveness from God, to know His sovereign care and immense wisdom, to know a friend I can talk with anytime, and to have a sure hope for life beyond the grave because of Him. He's never once let me down and loves me in ways I don't deserve and cannot count. If you don't know Him yet, I'd love to introduce you! If you do know Him, I'd love us to help and encourage each other to know, love and follow Him all our days.
I'm thankful to God too for my family who first shared the good news of Jesus with me, for years as a country vet marvelling at God's creation, for churches and colleges where I've learnt from the riches of the Bible, for friends and the DPC family, and for some favourite ways to rest - photography, fly fishing and walking in the mountains.”
David Burge
Senior Pastor
“I’m Dave, and I count it a duty and privilege to declare what God has done for you at the cross of Jesus — that you be forgiven by God, and live in the love, wisdom and power of Jesus Christ.
I’m so grateful to God for my wife Ashleigh, our four children, and our incredible church family. I and we as a church would sincerely love to welcome you and have you grow strong in the Lord with us.”
Andrew Dawson
Pastoral Team & Youth Ministry
Andrew and his wife Rachel have two sons, Zachary and Levi and a daughter, Zoe Joy. They enjoy visiting the local cafes and parks of Drummoyne and spending time outside. Before joining the DPC community, they spent three years at Sydney Missionary and Bible College preparing to share Jesus with whoever God connects them with.
Julia Self
Children’s Pastor
“Hey, I'm Julia. I am currently studying at SMBC whilst working one day a week at DPC. I was previously a primary school teacher and am passionate about investing in the next generation. I love seeing kids grasp God's love for them and help them walk as followers of Jesus. In my downtime I enjoy coastal walks, playing netball and sipping endless cups of tea.”
Jess Bryant
Playgroup Team Leader
“I’m Jess, and I’m so thankful to be part of the team at DPC. I’m thankful for Jesus and the way he welcomes us into a new family. My husband Cam and I are thankful for the way that DPC has replicated this welcome of Jesus since we joined the DPC church family while Cam studies to be a pastor at Moore College.
I love Jesus, and teaching kids about Jesus. My son Billy and I love playgroup and are excited to welcome families in to the DPC community through friendship, songs and stories.”
Joann Teo
Student Minister
“I love Jesus and enjoy dog walks and coffee. I became a Christian as an international student in 2015 after completing my doctoral research. I am currently studying at Moore College and am passionate about seeing Jesus' local church be the light for their community. I enjoy journeying with others in their spiritual walk, including chatting with you about questions you may have about Christianity.
Cameron Bryant
Student Minister
“My name is Cameron Bryant but you can call me Cam! I am from the city of Lismore located in rural NSW. I grew up on a dairy farm and have spent many years milking cows! I recently completed an MTS apprenticeship with Southern Cross Presbyterian Church and have moved to Sydney to learn more about our great God at Moore College! I think the good news is the greatest news ever and want to help grow followers of Jesus. I'm very excited to spend some time in the big smoke learning, growing and serving together with you all. ”
Meg Graham
Student Minister
“I'm Meg and I'm so thankful to be part of DPC in 2026! I grew up in Wagga Wagga, but more recently have lived on the Mid North Coast in Forster, where I completed a Ministry Apprenticeship at Coast Evangelical Church. I'm in my final year of College at SMBC this year, and am looking forward to growing in my love for Jesus and His people more and more. I love coffee, running, chatting about how the Lord is growing His people & serving together - and am excited to do this with the DPC family in 2026! :)”
Lachy Armytage
Student Minister
“I'm Lachy and I'm a student at Christ College in Burwood! I recently moved to Sydney from Orange, where I was working as the youth coordinator for four years. I've come to study theology and be trained up to serve Jesus as a youth and young adults worker into the future. I love Lego, playing guitar and working on my project car, and I'm excited to be a part of DPC, sharing Jesus together over the next few years!”
Hannah Waters
Student Minister
Hannah is in her 3rd year at SMBC. Prior to Bible College, Hannah worked as a Registered Nurse before doing MTS in Newcastle. Hannah loves chatting about Jesus, going to the beach, reading, and spending time with people!
