On any Sunday there are loads of people involved at dpc in different ways. Many of these roles have a co-ordinator who works thru the dpc planner web page to manage people serving in a particular role.

Your role is to work with the pastor of your congregation to co-ordinate people serving in a way that will make the meeting helpful for those who come. We want each congregation to work toward being a congregation where everyone feels they have a ministry…

*         get people on the planner, and takes responsibility for drop outs,
*         help recruit & train people who are new to the role,
*         give feedback and encouragement to everyone serving in this role,

Please don’t roster people without putting them on the planner – one of our major problems is people being asked to do too many things on the same week. By all working off the same document (web page) we can hopefully minimise this. You need to work together with other co-ordinators.

 

Role: Do a short talk in the main church meeting at 10:30am church before kids leave for kids church.

(6pm) about how to get involved.
Once you are on the planner, contact Cathy Tucker 1-2 weeks before the talk to discuss your spot.
Hours required: Kids Talkers serve on one-off Sundays. You need to spend time preparing beforehand and?arrive early (before church) for set up and to talk to the leader of the church meeting, PA person, etc.
