Everything Free...Almost?

If you have been to our Street Fair in recent years you will have noticed that everything is for free. This year most things are free: the jumping castle, music, craft, and all that’s happening...

We love having fun and giving something back to our local community. But there is another way we want to give this year.
Part of truly knowing Jesus is a growing realisation that loving others is more important than acquiring things. So this year we are selling some things we don’t think we need, in order to love some people that have great needs. Thank you for being here today. Have a great time. Enjoy the free stuff. And know that anything you spend will go, not to our church, but to two great causes we feel passionate about.

Orphanage in Thailand
For some time as a church we have been supporting an orphanage run by a sister church in Chang Mai Thailand. As well as giving financially, we have sent teams to work there in their holidays and Deb Chen from dpc has been serving in Chang Mai for two years and been involved in the orphanage.

Teenagers at Risk in Sydney
We love and care about our city. We also support another dpc member, Sharron Wilen working with teenagers at risk in Sydney.
