Home Groups

Walking into DPC for the first time can be a little intimidating. It's easy to feel lost in the crowd. This is where Home Groups come in. Home Groups are the primary place for pastoral care at DPC and is one of the key ways where we apply the Gospel to our lives. Composed of six to fourteen people, the groups meet throughout Drummoyne and the surrounding suburbs. For more information regarding Home Groups or if you are interested in joining a group, please contact Darryl Soh on 9819 6695 or darrylsoh@drummoyne.org.au. |

As church grows it is increasingly difficult to know everyone well. Home Groups can provide the closeness and commitment of a small number of quality relationships. Home Groups provide opportunities to serve one another - in fellowship, sharing, prayer - as we learn together from God's Word. A small group setting is an ideal place to ask questions, raise doubts & struggles, discuss issues and talk in concrete ways about how the word of God applies to our lives.
While home groups are in recess, we will be running a bible study open to anyone from 9am, 10:30am or 6pm church.
Through the work of the son, we have an intimate and personal relationship with God. We are able to address him as our father through the spirit. And since our God is the creator, sovereign over all things, we humbly address him with our concerns and requests. It's for these reasons that every few months at DPC, we ask all our Home Groups to stop what they usually do and use the night to pray for things happening at church, around Australia and in the world.
Thursday night Hub begins this week 5th Feb. Come for dinner at 6:30pm.
